I am a professor, administrator, researcher, author, and strategist extraordinaire (*smile*).

I hold several appointments at the University of Michigan, such as University Diversity and Social Transformation Professor at the National Center for Institutional Diversity and Professor of Social Work at the School of Social Work. I also have the privilege of serving as the director of the Vivian A. and James L. Curtis Center for Health Equity Research and Training.

I teach graduate-level research methods and program evaluation courses at the University of Michigan School of Social Work.

I am also the founding director of the Certificate Program in Mixed Methods Research and the award-winning Young Black Men, Masculinities, and Mental Health (YBMen) Project
