Welcome to my website. I am a professor, administrator, researcher, author, and strategist extraordinaire (*smile*). I hold several appointments at the University of Michigan, such as a University Diversity and Social Transformation Professor at the National Center for Institutional Diversity and a Professor at the School of Social Work. I also have the privilege of serving as the director of the Vivian A. and James L. Curtis Center for Health Equity Research and Training.
I teach graduate-level research methods and program evaluation courses at the University of Michigan School of Social Work. I am also the founding director of the Certificate Program in Mixed Methods Research and the award-winning Young Black Men, Masculinities, and Mental Health (YBMen) Project.
